Five observations from Manchester City’s win over Hull

Manchester City once again reached the final four of the League Cup in last night’s 4-1 win against Steve Bruce’s Hull, thanks to goals from Wilfried Bony, Kelechi Iheanacho and Kevin De Bruyne.

With Kompany still sidelined due to injury and Yaya surprisingly left out of last night’s squad, the returning David Silva lead the team to quarter final victory in his first start in almost 2 months.

Now one win away from the final, City are tantalizingly close to another trip to Wembley, but, before looking forward to that, let’s look back at last night; here’s five observations from the game.
