Player Ratings: Swansea 1-1 Manchester City

Last player ratings of the season! It’s been a blast doing them and we haven’t missed a single game over the course of the season, we hope you have enjoyed them.

Manchester City scraped past a second string Swansea side to clinch fourth spot and claim a place in next year’s Champions League, provided they see off their rivals in the qualification round.

In what was Manuel Pellegrini’s last game for the club, City started well and took the lead through youngster Kelechi Iheanacho – his 8th league goal of the campaign.

Swansea levelled the tie just before halftime as Fernando directed Andre Ayew’s free kick into Joe Hart’s net. The game was a cagey affair after that point and despite a plethora of good chances, City failed to get the win. Yet this victory allows them breathing space and Manchester United’s game in hand now doesn’t concern the Blues.
