Combined XI: Manchester City and Barcelona

The massive clash between Manchester City and Pep Guardiola’s former side Barcelona has come at exactly the wrong time for the Sky Blues.

After a flawless start to the season – with 10 wins from 10 – City are now winless in three. Draws to Celtic and Everton with a loss against Tottenham in between might have Pep Guardiola concerned about his team’s confidence ahead of the crucial Champions League tie.

These two sides are expected to be fighting to top the group so a win at the Nou Camp could see City take a significant advantage.
