Isco to look for Pellegrini reunion

UPDATE: According to Sport.es, Isco has reportedly told Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez that he wishes to join Manchester City. The Spaniard is said to be unhappy after seeing just 12 minutes of game-time in Real’s last five games.

Unsettled Real Madrid playmaker Isco has reportedly set his sights on a move to the Premier League, with the Spaniard’s preferred choice of destination being at Manchester City with his former Malaga boss, Manuel Pellegrini.

The Spain midfielder has fallen down the pecking order under new manager Rafa Benitez and has found first-team football hard to come by at the Bernabeu.

The 23-year-old has been a long-standing target of Manchester City and a move to the Etihad for Isco is looking more likely than ever. The midfielder’s representatives are set to meet with Real Madrid’s board for showdown talks regarding Isco’s future; a meeting that could resolve the future of the midfielder.

It has been reported that the move in the offing for Isco is to initially be a six-month loan that will take him up until the end of the season. However, if Isco is to potentially pursue a career in Manchester, the fee demanded will be up to £25 million.

Isco’s lack of chances at Real Madrid have led to his concerns regarding his chances ahead of Euro 2016 in the summer with his native Spain and could look to Pellegrini to revitalise his career.
