Manchester City interested in Manuel Neuer

German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has become one of the dream targets for Manchester City this summer, putting Joe Hart’s future in serious danger.

According to The Mirror, Pep Guardiola is hoping to reunite with the German superstar as he begins his major squad overhaul after arriving at the Etihad in June this year.

This could spell the end to the end of Joe Hart’s City career if Guardiola thinks the Englishman does not fit the bill.

Neuer would be Guardiola’s top choice if he decides to bring in a new goalkeeper.

With three years till left on his contract at Bayern Munich, Neuer is supposedly looking for a pay rise at Bayern.

Neuer is hoping that his wages increase to approximately £300,000-a-week, doubling the top earners at Bayern Munich.

With City’s vast financial resources, this should not be a problem, however, the bigger task is convincing Bayern to sell.

Guardiola is willing to look elsewhere if he is unable to purchase the German keeper and believes Hart is not credible enough to be City’s keeper for 2016/17 season.
