Loan Round-Up – 28/08/2016

This summer has seen a large amount of City’s youngsters move out on loan in the hope of getting game-time and developing into a contender for first-team football at the Etihad.

It has also seen the advent of a new partnership between City and NAC Breda, allowing several players to go to the Eerste Division with little obstruction. Those players have been joined by more, at FC Twente and elsewhere, as well as some who opted to go to Spain instead of the Netherlands.

The season is now starting to get into full swing, and most leagues are now back underway after the European Championships and pre-season. This means it’s time again for our report of the players City have sanctioned temporary moves for.

As usual, some didn’t play and as such don’t warrant their own slide here, including Marlos Moreno, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Pablo Mari, Ruben Sobrino, Manu Garcia and George Glendon. However, many did play, and were key to getting good results for their teams.
