Kyle Walker signs for Manchester City

Manchester City have announced that they have signed England right-back Kyle Walker from Tottenham.

The 27-year-old has signed a five-year contract at the Etihad Stadium and has chosen to wear the number two shirt.

Speaking to the official Man City website, Walker said:

I am thrilled to be signing for City and can’t wait to get started. Pep Guardiola is one of the most respected managers in the world and I feel he can help me take my game to a new level.

Walker becomes City’s third signing of the summer, after midfielder Bernardo Silva and goalkeeper Ederson joined earlier in the window.
